A large international company with offices based in Basildon is urgently recruiting an Operations Manager to join their team with extensive experience in Lean. This is a very important and critical role within the organisation and will require candidates to have had similar experience previously. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, successful candidaes will need to be able to: Take overall responsibility for the Goods In/ Purchasing/ Store and Accident & Repairs teamsManage and rationalise the supplier baseBe able to identify the need for and implement continual improvement projectsReport key issues and corrective actions to the supply chain and DBS managerHave a strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing methods exposure and understandingInventory ReductionLean Six Sigma Experience Essential - you must be six sigma qualified.Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the above experience, candidates without this experience will not be considered.My client will look at providing relocation packages for candidates not from the area, if you would be interested in this, please provide relocation details on application.Interviewing now.
