Job Description

Our client, a £10m turnover business with aggressive growth plans, currently seeks to recruit an Assistant Accountant to work closely alongside the Financial Controller.

Duties will include: assisting with accounts preparation, assisting with VAT returns, bank reconciliations, closing invoice runs for 2 subsidiaries, BACS payments & transfers, dealing with payroll and end of year returns, P11Ds, PAYE/NI payments, and any other ad hoc duties as required. This role offers a realistic career path for the right candidate, and would offer a chance to bring new ideas to the business when it comes to policies and procedures. An excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Financial Controller where you can learn and continue to develop.

The ideal individual will be actively studying towards their AAT or be AAT qualified, and looking to continue their studies towards the ACCA/ACMA qualification or equivalent.
