Pursuit Finance currently seeks an experienced Recruitment Consultant to maintain and develop a busy Accountancy desk, specialising in transactional vacancies. Your overall objective will be to establish and sustain credible, ethical and value-add relationships with both clients and candidates, that both maintain and enhance the image and success of this well-reputed consultancy.
 
Responsibilities will include:
·         Ensure a sound understanding of candidates’ capabilities and skills, through interviewing, assessing and testing where appropriate
·         Ensure detailed understanding of clients’ specification requirements, as well as the industry in which they operate
·         Match candidates to client requirements, operating an effective short-list approach
·         Providing an in-depth briefing to candidates prior to attending interviews to ensure a maximum positive outcome
·         Ensure that all vacancy administration complies with legal requirements including Equal Opportunities regulations, and are appropriately recorded
·         Ensure clients are in possession of our Terms & Conditions of business within 30 minutes of registering a vacancy
·         Initiate new business through discussion with prospective clients
·         Maintain appropriate contact with clients and candidates on a regular basis, through client meetings and over the telephone, building a professional and long-term relationship at all times
·         Negotiate effectively, taking a commercial approach
 
 
The successful individual will have previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, specialising in the accountancy field , and will have a proven track record of growing a successful permanent or temporary desk.
 
You will be an accomplished and confident communicator, with excellent information gathering skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to listen to your clients’ and candidates’ requirements. Strong time management and organisational skills are essential for this role in order to maximise your time effectively.
